For the purpose of this article, we will be taking some plain, unsweetened yogurt, and applying it topically. Take a tampon, and push it out about 1 centimeter. Apply the yogurt to this centimeter, and let it soak for a good 5 minutes. Insert the tampon, and use it as you normally would. Do this 2 times a day, for 7 days straight. Wearing a pad is also a good idea, so you avoid making a mess. Alternatively, you can use a douche.
2. Hydrogen Peroxide.
A friend actually told me that you can dilute hydrogen peroxide it water. You will want the solution to be half and half. Apply the half and half solution to the douche, and use the douche as you normally would. This friend of mine told me that her symptoms were gone within 2 days after using this remedy.
There are a number of home remedies for yeast infections available. This remedy is something that's definitely effective. If I am you, I would try using the yogurt, because it's known for its' anti-bacterial qualities. This is definitely one home remedy that I wouldn't go without. Hydrogen peroxide is said to also work, but I am unsure as to how just this remedy actually is."
